What is the purpose of using XML formats for XML integration?
The use of structured XML formats facilitates the electronic exchange of invoices between businesses and their partners. This replaces manual processes with automated workflows, resulting in faster processing, fewer errors, and improved collaboration.
Because XML brings sophisticated data coding to Web sites, it helps companies integrate their information flows. By creating a single set of XML tags for all corporate data, information can be shared seamlessly among Web sites, databases, and other back-end systems.
Both XML and PDF/A-3 (with integrated XML) are acceptable formats for creating Simplified Tax Invoices. The XML must be time-stamped with a CSID provided by ZATCA, and the EGS solution must include a QR Code that conforms to Phase 2 specifications.
